Address .Every time a page running on WordPress is load. A lot of operations have to be done in the background, which are demanding on the server’s computing power. All the necessary WordPress files must be load, the database connect, the requir content generat, and then the clean HTML code sent to the visitor to be display by their browser.
It can take hundrs of milliseconds to units of seconds to complete all these steps, depending on the spe of the server. For visitors, such lengthy page loading can be the reason why they leave and do not continue browsing the website (which is even worse for e-shops built on Woocommerce, for example).
A possible solution? Cache
You must have heard the word “cache” before. In our case, we will use the cache to store the already generat HTML code of the page in the server’s cache. The russia phone number data entire page must therefore be generat for the visitor, but its HTML code is subsequently sav and the page is load almost immiately for every other visitor. The difference in spe is noticeable even with the nak eye.
There are tons of cache plugins, including great ones make a positive impact early on like “Rocket WP”, “W3 Total Cache” and “WP Super Cache”. Today I will focus on a very simple extension boldly call WP Fastest Cache.
Installation and activation
Download and activate the following plugin in the WordPress interface.
After activation, a new WP Fastest Cache item will appear in the left menu . Click on it and let’s get start together on a simple setup of the entire extension.
Plugin settings
I will go through the individual options for setting up the entire plugin with you. I deliberately skipp the gray out options, as they are only available in the paid version.
Settings tab
Cache System – Check to start the functionality of the entire plugin. Only after selecting this option will the web caching be active.
Preload – With this option, you can set that the cach pages will be creat automatically, thus avoiding unnecessary longer loading if the server does not have the given page in the cache for the time being. I leave this function disabl.
Logg-in Users – Check to disable page caching by lists for logg-in users. This is often useful, especially for sites where you have some kind of user account or personaliz content comments.
